It seems that it gets more and more difficult to think of things to do with your family that are free. I understand that it can be hard to make things all come together when you are trying to pay housing, food, school tuition and other expenses. It does not cost anything to have some fun with your family however.

Many people put off having fun with their families because they think that they have to pay all of this money to go out to a theme park or other event. They do not know that some simple things can be even more exciting and family building than things that cost a lot of money. Let’s now go on to look at 3 top free activities.

Number 1 - Family Art Time

Making art with your family can be a very rewarding time. It is a lot of fun and really helps everyone bring out their creativity. You can try drawing, painting, cutting out papers and gluing them or many other types of art. Sometimes you may even consider buying a special art kit that you can use for family art time.

Number 2 – Field Trip

Field trips do not have to be expensive. Do you have a farm around your area? If you have a farm near you, you could go up to the owner and ask them if they mind you coming to look at the animals and see how things work one day. Most of the time farmers are more than happy to allow you to check out their operation and take a short tour.

Number 3 – Build A Fort

I remember building a fort when I was younger. It was so much fun and it allowed me to use my imagination. You can build your fort outside or if it is too cold you can build a fort in your living room. All you need are some sheets, blankets, chairs, sleeping bags, book shelves and pretty much anything that can help with hanging the sheets and blankets.
